The Patriotic Pooch Parade will join in the march of the Independence Day Parade through the island at Bill Henfey Park, 8th and Atlantic Avenues in North Wildwood. Check-in for parade participants will be from 8:15 a.m., parade at 9 a.m. Dogs of all shapes and sizes will parade along the streets of the Wildwoods dressed in patriotic garb alongside decorated bicycles. A fun event for infants and toddlers (up to 2 years old) to show off their speedy crawling or "waddling" technique on the day before the official Wildwoods Baby Parade! The Baby Waddle takes place at 10:30 a.m. on the grassy circle in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center. Registration will begin at the circle at 9:30 a.m. Waddle begins at 10:30 a.m. SHARP! Registration at Wildwoods Convention Center from 4:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. No entries accepted after 5:30 p.m. PARADE ROUTE will start at the Wildwoods Sign at Rio Grande Avenue. Judging occurs while participants are lined up at the Wildwoods Sign (Hand Avenue Parking Lot). Line-up begins at 5:30 p.m., parade steps off at 6 p.m. SHARP with final route starting at the Wildwoods Sign heading North on the Wildwoods Boardwalk – Exit at Montgomery Avenue – Cross Ocean Avenue – each contestant will be announced while entering Fox Park. Baby Parade Winners are announced following the parade.
